About me
Edison Garcia is the Senior Manager of International Sales at Ingram Content Group, where he oversees sales across all regions outside of the UK and Europe.
Edison holds a BA in Spanish Literature from the City College of New York. He began his publishing journey in the managing editorial department at Simon & Schuster before transitioning to international sales. In 2013, he joined Perseus Group as Sales Manager for Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East, later expanding his scope to include Europe. Over the course of his career, Edison has traveled to more than 45 countries, fostering relationships with local retailers, distributors, and sales representatives, and representing his Indie Client Publishers at major international book fairs.
Currently, Edison leads the team responsible for sales in the Open Market, Canada, India, and Australia. In addition to his role at Ingram, he teaches a class on Global Markets as part of the Publishing Certificate Program at the City College of New York. A passionate reader, Edison’s favorite author is Roberto Bolaño, and he has a particular love for fantastic literature and literary mysteries. He resides in West New York, New Jersey, with his beloved Pomeranian, Miel.
