About me
Jonathan Merkh is a seasoned publishing executive with over 30 years of experience in the book industry. Throughout his career, he has worked with a diverse range of authors, including Brad Paisley, Glenn Beck, Dave Ramsey, and the Robertson family from Duck Dynasty, helping to turn their works into bestsellers. His leadership roles have included serving as Vice President and Publisher at Thomas Nelson Publishers, Howard Books (a division of Simon & Schuster), and also served as a Literary agent at WME. In 2018 he cofounded Forefront Books, a hybrid publishing company. Over his career, Merkh has published nearly 100 New York Times bestsellers. In 2023, Forefront Books was named the second fastest-growing independent publisher in the U.S. by Publisher’s Weekly.
