Victoria Gallina is a Senior Production Coordinator for Getty Publications, at the J. Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles. She has been working in museum publishing for 20 years. She started her career in the Special Publications department of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, working on the production of books and children's books + art kits inspired by the Met's collection. For the past eight years, she has been with Getty Publications, managing all aspects of prepress and production for a range of titles: special exhibition catalogs, academic volumes and technical publications for the Getty Museum, Research Institute, and Conservation Institute. In her free time, she enjoys hiking the beautiful trails in Los Angeles with her husband and German Shorthaired Pointer; she also enjoys painting and designing textiles. Victoria is passionate about placing Sustainability initiatives front and center in her work publishing academic art books.
