Text me anytime at 239-777-3241 and let’s chat! I started O’Leary Publishing, a hybrid publishing company, in 2018 and we published our first three books in 2019. Since then we’ve published 43 books. In 2020 I launched the ‘I’m Booked’ podcast which currently has 82 episodes. In 2021 I launched Booked Naples, an annual Tedx-style author event to give our authors a chance to give their signature speech on stage to a audience of hundreds of attendees and record it for their use in building their platform. We hosted our third event on Feb 29th. Stats aside, growing an independent publishing company has been a labor of love and a lot of experimenting. I joined the IBPA a few years ago for the support and camaraderie of being around others in the same boat. It has been a life saver. I’m currently looking at ways to potentially grow out of a POD model and decide if and when we might be ready for trade distribution and how that could happen…and if it’s worth it. We work mainly with first-time authors in the non-fiction genres of spirituality, business, self-help, transformational and memoir. Our author clients become our family. We serve them at a very high-touch level and frequently help them from idea to published book. Our goal is to publish 15 books in 2024. We’ve launched 5 thus far.
